Pension card:
List of Pensioners on the Roll Junaury 1, 1883 volume 4 page 279 lists Joseph Ashkonois. He is living in Cross Village and had a gun shot wound in his left arm.
The 1890 Federal Census - Veterans Schedule also states Joseph was wounded in the arm.
