Oliver Ar-pe-tar-gezhik of Wapole Island, enlisted in company K, First Sharpshooters, 17 Jun 1863 at Dearborn for 3 years, age 19. Mustered 17 Jun 1863. Died at Washington, D.C. 9 Jul 1864 of wounds received in action at Petersburg, VA 17 Jun 1864. Buried in National Cemetery at Arlington, VA.
